ET's Info-Stew

In 2007 we have only one trip planned. It is a three-nighter in Lassen Volcanic National Park. It is the same trip we wanted to do in 2005, and this year the snow level will not be a problem. The trip is tentatively planned for July 21st through 24th.

Though we have only the one planned backpacking trip this year, we have talked about doing a few one-nighters. I'm all for it, but nothing seems to be materializing. The one trip that I absolutely must do this year is a day-hike to the top of half-dome. I realize that this might be the most difficult hike I have and ever will do, but I feel like I really should do it now. I need to lose some serious weight before we attempt it though.
