Books I've Read

I have read a good number of books in my time. I have spurts when I'll read several books at a time and other spurts when I don't read a book a for over a year. I prefer fiction books. In my high-school years I was introduced to fantasy fiction books including books by Terry Goodkind, D&D books, and other series, but I outgrew them quickly. They were so long ago that I don't remember them, so I don't include them here. Since then I have mainly focused on science fiction books with a few deviations here and there. I heard many books as unabridged audio versions. If you look at the sheer number of books published, I don't think it is possible to ever get bored of reading. Sure, some authors are boring or repetitive (ahem, Dan Brown), but there are thousands of others to try out.

My favorite series is the Dark Tower series by Stephen King, introduced to me by my high school friend Sterling. My favorite individual book is probably Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card.

The number of books I have read and listed here is: 52. I'm currently acquiring Foundation and Earth by Isaac Asimov. This will finish the Foundation series in the Foundation era. I'm also getting Forward the Foundation, which is a prequel to Foundation.
