I got about as good of sleep as I can expect last night. I put my pack under my sleeping pad to give my knees a place to rest while lying on my back. The extra available sleeping position meant my body could stay in positions longer, so I woke up to move fewer times.
The hike from Lower Twin Lake to Cluster Lakes was short and mostly level, so I set a brisk pace. Bill scouted a pretty good camp spot between the two northmost Custler Lakes. We didn't know this until we had set up camp (because we bushwhacked from the East side) but the trail happens to be a few dozen yards from camp. At least tomorrow's hike looks to be fairly straightforward.
