Despite my belief that the weather would not be good enough to take my check ride, I did it today and I passed! I performed sub standard in a couple areas and above standard in many others. Recounting the negative aspects of my flight is not fun, but it is instructive. Nonetheless, I'm not going to discuss them here. Hopefully the lessons were well learned and I am a better pilot as a result.
As I have passed, I am now legally allowed to fly where I want, when I want and with whom I want. It's nice to have the stress of the check ride over. I'll probably have more time for other things, particularly Jenny who has been so supportive of this time consuming and expensive effort. This is likely to be my last "Flight Training" blog for a while, until I'm mentally prepared to start picking it up again. Woo hoo!!!!!
